GHME Films is a purpose-driven media production company founded by filmmaker and media director Antrell McLean, based in Sanford, North Carolina. Built on excellence, storytelling, and service, GHME Films exists to help churches, creatives, and organizations communicate their message with clarity and impact through high-quality visual media.
Antrell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University, where he developed a strong technical and creative foundation that continues to shape the company’s work today.
Our Story
Antrell’s journey in media began between 2013 and 2016 while attending Full Sail University. During this time, he began shooting music videos alongside his academic studies, learning firsthand how to bring creative visions to life through camera work, lighting, composition, and editing. Those early years laid the groundwork for a career rooted in both creativity and discipline.
After graduating, Antrell continued working in media through freelance projects, primarily in music videos and creative content. From 2016 to 2020, he refined his skills through real-world experience—learning how to manage productions, communicate with clients, and deliver consistent, professional results.
In 2021, Antrell transitioned into church production, stepping into media leadership and eventually serving as a media director. This season marked a turning point. Church production introduced live environments, high-pressure workflows, and the importance of consistency, teamwork, and technical excellence. It also revealed a growing need: many churches had powerful messages but lacked the systems and strategy to effectively reach people online.
